Columbus, GA, March 24, 2018 – Great weather with sunny skies and warm temperatures helped to attract one of the largest crowds ever to Columbus’ Spring Food Truck Rally.
Lined up along Dillingham Bridge and through Woodruff Park, there were over 20 food trucks were on hand to cook some of the best food truck food for the people of Columbus. Lines were long at most trucks – but it was worth the wait for the food.
Most of the trucks were from the Atlanta area but one truck, Chazito’s Latin Food, drove all the way from Pooler, Ga close to Savannah. Their Cuban sandwiches were delicious!
Noticeably absent was local food trucks. I didn’t get the memo on why that happened. Of course, with the number of trucks that did participate, there was definitely a great variety of food.
There was everything from barbeque to tacos to desserts. Great music was provided by the DJ booth and PMB Broadcasting. You definitely need to make plans now for the fall Food Truck Rally in Columbus.
